Olympus xD card giving “READ ERROR AT…” error message?

I have an Olympus E-510 digital camera and also having a 2GB xD memory card for it. Generally, on the weekend I took the xD card out of the camera because I forgot what brand it was. But last day an unexpected happened when I put the card back into the camera and got an error message which says “READ ERROR AT …” followed by “the parameter is incorrect I have never ever encountered this error message and know nothing about it so, that I can do any thing. Search about the error in the internet but got nothing unsatisfactory. I don’t know what to do please help.

Corrupted Olympus “type h” xD card, any suggestions?

I have been using Olympus SP-510uz with 1GB Olympus xD card “type h” for quite a long time. One day I want to show some pictures of mine to a friend on the PC, but since I don’t have the USB lead, I just put the xD card to the card reader and connected it to the PC. But surprisingly the card reader did not recognize the xD card. When I tried it with some other camera the result was same. So I put the card back in my SP-510 and guess what it also not recognizes the pictures on the card rather giving the option of formatting or canceling only. Have I now lost my photos and is there any way of retrieve them back?

Photo lost due to Olympus xD card formatting error. ?

I have purchased an Olympus Camedia C-370 zoom camera and a 1GB xD memory card for it. When I tried to format the xD card by using a memory card reader, the process simply failed and the camera gave an error message which says “card error”. I tried to format the same xD card on my PC but it also couldn't read the card. It says there is no disk in the drive. After I erased the data using Aperase.exe the same thing happen again. I don’t know what to do please help? Your help will be immensely appreciated!!!

I have an Olympus digital video camera and I have deleted the photos of my Olympus camera. All photos of my Olympus digital video camera was in orf photo format. I want to recover it, is it possible to recover it

Once, I was walking on road with my Olympus video camera and unfortunately a car hit my camera and excel rate his car and ran away. Then I run fastly towards my camera and carry my camera. After reaching at my home I found that my camera is not working properly and all the files and pictures of my camera were deleted. Please give me advice to recover all files and pictures of my Olympus camera.
