I just want to view some of my daughter’s pictures from xD card on my laptop. For that I started copy the files from the xD card to the laptop. Since I just wanted to view them, I clicked to stop button while the copying is on process. Now it seems that I have wiped the whole memory card, as nothing is visible on the card and card is also not recognized by the camera. So, I want to know any way by which I can retrieve them back. I am desperate to receive your any help.

It seems that you don’t use memory card very often. I am saying this because you are not supposed to take out card or interrupt the card while the data transfer is on process. This is one of the most main causes due to which users generally loose their data. But anyways as you have already committed the mistake, then what to do? But the thing in your favour is after being your xD card not showing the data’s that doesn’t mean that data are not present in card. You can easily recover those data on your laptop or PC using any free xD Card Recovery Program. Just have a try, you will definitely get positive results.
