I am using 2GB SD memory card of PNY on my Nikon CoolPix p5100 digital camera. Today, I thought about doing a backup of some of the photos that I have taken from the camera on my Lenovo laptop. After connecting the camera to the Laptop, I tried to copy the photos but was unable to do so. Every time when I am trying to copy, the computer shows an error message “Unable to Copy”. I then disconnected my camera and insert it again, this time the computer is unable to read the photos on the SD memory card. I tried a different memory card on my camera and it seems to be working. Has anybody experienced such kind of problem and how did you tackle it?

Claire 		I was also receiving such kind of error message when I connected my Panasonic digital camera onto my computer. I thought that there was some kind of problem with my computer but actually the problem was with my CF memory card. I had previously used the memory card on a different camera and it got infected with some kind of virus.

I had then used a tool called Photo Picture Recovery Software. The software not only repaired my memory card but recovered all the photos that were deleted previously. However the software does not support RAW files, only JPEG images only. You can have a look at this software to try repairing your memory card so that you can copy the JPEG images on your computer. Hope this much of information is enough to solve your problem.
