I have been using MxR, EX1 adaptors and Transcend 8GB class 6 memory card for 4 months and never lost any single data. But after shooting the footage when I returned home to transfer it to my PC, then the card is not working. It was mounted UNTITLED and when I opened it, there was nothing in it. When I opened the video folder there is a BPAV folder, but no video files. FCP log and transfer, XDCAM Clip Browser, XDCAM Transfer also can’t read it. But If I right click on the card and choose “Get Info”, it says that there is 3.39GB used of 7.12GB of total. It indicates that footage is there, but how do I retrieve it?

Well, I have never experienced this error before, but have you tried by putting the card back into the camera and restoring the media option. It might fix the issue. But if you popped out the card before it finished writing the data you could have damaged the card and the data too. So, in this type of situation it is better to use any card recovery software. Using Transcend Photo Recovery software can be a good move, as it can easily recover all your data’s and videos from the corrupted and damaged memory card.
