I loaded SanDisk memory card in my new Nikon Coolpix 3200 camera. It worked pretty nice with still images, then for a change I shoot 30 second video with it. But when I pressed the play button to view it again I got an error message which says “Warning: Card Cannot be Read”. When I tried to delete it since the transfer program can no longer transfer any new still pictures, it doesn’t respond and seems to be “blocked” by the video. I tried several times to delete the video but the camera is not allowing and displays the same error message. I don’t know what to do please help.

When the memory card gets “locked” due to battery failure filming errors generally occurs of some kind. This is very serious issue as due to memory card locking you may loose your important and precious pictures or data. So, using card reader to recover data from the memory card is a good move to perform. Just insert the SanDisk memory card in the card reader and then use your computer to delete the files of your need. In fact I use Paint-Shop Pro to load and manipulate images straight from the card, and delete files afterwards directly from it. You can try this as it is very effective way to solve your problem out. Otherwise just use any free SanDisk Recovery software that can access the blocked items and efficiently recovers the images from it.
