You are saying that the chip is missing, so I don’t think any software will be able to recover your files. So, first you need to replace the chip missing with exact duplicate. Since the chip of the memory card is very tiny, so you need to do this work delicately and with more perfection. If it is the “physical” connector and still giving you troubles then I don’t think you are able to read anything from the card and there is comparable difference between a head crash and damaged sectors, in the first case you can recover the data’s by using any SD Card Recovery software but in second case it is totally impossible.
