I have purchased an Olympus Camedia C-370 zoom camera and a 1GB xD memory card for it. When I tried to format the xD card by using a memory card reader, the process simply failed and the camera gave an error message which says “card error”. I tried to format the same xD card on my PC but it also couldn't read the card. It says there is no disk in the drive. After I erased the data using Aperase.exe the same thing happen again. I don’t know what to do please help? Your help will be immensely appreciated!!!

Since you didn’t mentioned the type of xD you are using giving you the suggestion is really had thing to do. Both M and H xD memory cards are bit different from each other in the way they work and also in the way they store data’s. But one thing that is common between them are they work only with Olympus digital cameras. I guess you are having some problem in your digital camera, so just check it out. And to recover the photos you can try any Olympus Memory Card Recovery software that will retrieve all the photos and other documents stored in the xD cards. So, just have a try and lets see if it works.
