I purchased Digital Data Card Recovery software to recover all my photos from an 8GB SD memory card. The photos on the memory card were in JPG, JPEG and BMP file format.

When I am running the software for doing the complete recovery of all the deleted photos from the memory card, it is able to scan and locate all the deleted photos but when the photos are recovered, I am getting only the JPG and BMP file format images. The software is not able to recover all my 3GB JPEG images that is there in the memory card.

Is there anything wrong with this photo recovery software that is not able to recover the photos? Kindly suggest.

It is impossible that photo recovery software would recover the JPG and BMP file format images and would leave the JPEG images. Choose the “Complete Recovery” option from the program of the software and then locate which partition you want to recover. After that click on the “Options” and then NTFS and then press OK.

By doing this you will be able to recover the JPEG images using the software. If you still cannot recover the images then maybe the JPEG images has been damaged. Try to repair it first using your software and then recover it.
