I recently upgraded my computer from Windows XP to Windows 7. Everything seems to be working in order for me except my 1GB OCZ USB Flash Drive. The device is not working properly on the newly upgraded version; Windows 7. After installing the hardware on my system, I go to My Computers and over there I could not find any removable hard disk. The USB hard disk is showing under the Disk Management but without any letter. How can I fix this problem of mine?

First try to reboot the system with the drivers plugged in. Then remove all the network drive mappings and format the drive as FAT32 from Windows 2000 machine. Uninstall the OCZ flash drive and install it again. By doing this the OCZ USB Flash Drive would be recognized by your computer. The photos and the other data that got deleted during the formatting procedure can be recovered using any particular OCZ Flash Recovery software.

As a result of which not only the USB drive is recognized by your laptop but you get back all the data that was there on the removable hard disk. Do as I say and you will definitely be able to sort out this existing problem of yours.
