I am using an Olympus digital camera with 1 GB Apacer SD Card. There were about 100 photos in the camera until recently. Couple of days ago, my 12 year old son had mistakenly clicked on the format button and all the photos have been erased from the memory card. I know that it is an uphill task to recover those deleted photos manually. Is there any recovery software available that would recover the photos without damaging them?

Joy 		Yes, it is a Herculean task to recover the lost photos manually. When my photos were deleted I did the following to get my photos recovered without the aid of any recovery software.

First of all remove the memory card from your digital camera and put the memory card on a card reader and connect that to the computer. Then go to the My Computer and click on the removable hard drive that is using the memory card. From the shortcut menu, select Properties. Click the Tools tab and the Check Now button under the Error Checking. After doing this click on the Start button and the camera will then show all the photos.

If still the photos are not recovered, then I would suggest you to use Apacer SD Card Recovery Software. The software is very effective in recovering the lost photos from any digital camera and is compatible with all kinds of memory card. My sister has been using this software and she says that it works really fine. I hope the software is able to help you recover those formatted photos from your digital camera.
