Lexar SD memory card error with black screen?

Recover your Lost Picture - Photo Recovery Software

My 2GB Lexar SD memory was working well on my Canon IXUS 850IS digital camera. I was to transfer about 960 photos to my PC. But while the transfer is on progress, at photo number 750 my PC said that, it was unable to download anymore photos due to an error. When I checked and tried again there was no photo's available on the memory card neither card reader is showing anything. The camera is showing “Memory card error” with black screen when card is plugged to it. I don’t know what to do as there are still some photos on the card which I really want to retrieve. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Caroline 		Why don’t you use your card reader to recover the images on the card? The card reader must be recognizing your 2 GB Lexar card. If it is not responding there also then you are really in a trouble. I am saying this because it is another thing that you can recover the data’s stored in the memory card using any software, which is very much possible but after that you will not be able to use the card again as it is not recognized by any other camera or gadget. So, whatever the reason is just use good Lexar Memory Card Recovery software and get the data back.

JuicySen 		If the memory card is not recognized by the PC then it is very difficult to retrieve the data as the controller of the memory card is damaged. Due to this damage the operating system of the PC will not recognize the memory card and will guide you to format the memory card. The only way to recover the data’s are through unsolder memory chip and directly access and retrieve the raw data with programmable chip reader. But for a try, as this way of retrieving data is very lengthy process you can use Lexar Memory Card recovery software to recover the data.
