You should know that when you format a memory card, all the contents in it gets erased; however temporarily. Many people believe that the photos erased, they would not be able to get back those lost photos. But contrary to popular perceptions, the photos are there on the camera and can be recovered as long as they are not over-written. There is a software called King Max Photo Recovery software that recovers all the photos and other items from the memory card that has either been formatted or deleted. A friend of mine had used this software and it recovered the photos easily and it did not corrupt the recovered photos at all. Try using that software, hope it works for you.
