I had been to United Kingdom with my friends on vacation and over there I had taken a lot of photos with my Sony Alpha DSLR-A200. When I returned home and connect my camera to the computer, the entire memory card is empty. How come this is possible? I had taken more than 50 photos using that camera and I want those photos back any how? I am looking for some suggestions. I am using 1GB Simpletech CF memory card.

I cannot say the exact reason why the photos are not showing in the memory card though you have captured the images. It might be that there is some kind of virus in your camera that infected your memory card and this in turn had deleted the photos in it. Or it might be possible that you have inserted your memory card in someone else’s camera and this has corrupted your memory card and hence is the photo loss.

There are many recovery programs for simpletech memory card available in the market. Try using any one of them to recover your deleted photos from your memory card. You can not only recover your lost photos but also repair your damaged simpletech CF memory card. So, don’t be depressed and your photos will be back by using any good photo recovery program or software.
