While I was viewing photos in my Canon PowerShot digital camera, a message was suddenly displayed on the LCD screen called “Caution.. Erasing All”. After that it says “No Pictures”. I have neither clicked on the Format option nor was the camera in the Automatic Delete Mode. Then how come the photos got deleted? Is there any way to recover those photos?

Well, it seems to be a weird case of photo deletion of yours. Since you have not mentioned what kind of memory card you are using in your camera, I would have been in a better position to solve your problem. It might be because of some bugs in your memory card that has corrupted your memory card and hence the photos has got deleted of its own.

There is a software called Digital Photo Picture Recovery software that I used once to recover the photos from my formatted XD memory card. You can use this software to recover deleted photos and repairing damaged memory cards as well. Use the trial version first and if you are satisfied, then use the full version of the software.
