I am using Kodak EasyShare M753 Digital Camera with 1GB Delkin Flash DDEXP54-CF-2 memory card. Today, when I am trying to access the photos, the camera freezes out. When I changed the settings of the camera to view mode and connect it to the computer, I am getting the following error messages:

• Unable to read the memory card
• Memory card requires formatting

What is the possible cause for these error messages and how can I recover the photos that are there in the Flash memory card?

There can be many reasons for the error messages that you are getting. It can be because of the fact that the memory card is not properly inserted to the card slot to the camera or there is some kind of certification issues with the memory card or the memory card is corrupt.

First of all make sure that the memory card is properly inserted to the digital camera and make sure that the memory card that you are using is compatible with your using Kodak EasyShare M753 digital camera. If the error messages continue then you will have to reformat the memory card. This will delete all the photos and in turn will clean your memory card from any infected virus. Then add the photos to the memory card from your updated backup. If there is no backup available then use a proper recovery tool.
