While I am connecting my 4GB Simpletech SD Card to the computer, I am able to see my memory card in the Removable Storage drive but when I try to access the photos that are there in the memory card, the computer gives an “Access Denied” message? Why it is so and what should I do now?

The “Access Denied” that is displayed on the computer screen might be because of the fact that there is either some problem with your computer or with your memory card. First of all remove the memory card that you are using now and try any other memory card. If the same message is displayed then your system is corrupted and needs some repair work. If the Simpletech memory card gives the same access denied message on another computer then your memory card is corrupted.

Until and unless the memory card is repaired, you would not be able to access the corrupted Simpletech SD card. I had used a software called Photo Recovery for recovering some of my deleted photos from CF memory card. You can use this software for repairing corrupted memory cards as well and works with all kinds of memory card. I haven’t used it still for repairing any damaged memory card but I know it works. So try checking it out if you feel like.
