I hate being smarter than my parents. I showed my lamb at a big fair and every year I take pictures with them im my uniform to remember them, that year, fair and whatnot. Well stupid me I let my parents mess with it. And stupid them lost my photos. I've read that if nothing else is put onto the sd card they might be recoverable. My father, the dumbest of dumb, took about 6 stupid pictures in the dark of nothing of the inside of the car. Could they still be recoverable? I have a newer sanyo if that matters.

I have had success with this... Download the program http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the asoftech program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press “Start” and wait for it to do it’s magic.

You need to use a card reader either one already in your computer (some have one, some don't). Or buy an external USB card reader. They are around $2 on Amazon.

Yes you can still recover those photos. 6 new files won't over write your files however to lessen the probability of 'that' happening you must use a data recovery program. One honest program I can highly recommend is Stellar Photo Recovery from: http://www.retrievedeletedphotos.com/.

It can scan your disk/card/memory for the lost/deleted files for free and it'll show you the thumbnail version of your photos and you can recover them after paying their very cheap fee of $39. I got tired of trying out free programs that don't work and there are instances that it contains viruses or spyware so this is the best choice for me. I guess everything comes with a price nowadays, good thing it's worth it.

I'm no expert, but when I had this happen, I took out the SD card and put it into a card reader. Then download a SD card recovery software to retrieve my lost pictures.I have a professional one on my PC that can recover lost, corrupted, deleted or formatted pictures from memory card.Get it from:
http://www.tenorshare.com/data-recovery.html
You can download it and scan your SD card for free to preview whether your pictures can be recovered. It will show you the file name, type, date and size of your files and thumbnails for your pictures that it found on your card.
Hope this help!

I'm not sure if the 6 photos taken will harm, but there definitely is software to recover your photos. I got a copy from the internet, but deleted it long ago. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the software, but there definitely is one to recover your photos. I hope this helps in some way :)
