“Read/Write error” error message with Delkin memory card?

I am using Canon PowerShot SD450 Digital Elph with 2 GB Delkin memory card for 3 long years and didn’t find any problem until I have encountered “Read/Write error” error message last night. I was snapping some cute pictures of my daughter at night, when she is having her dinner. At the mean time the battery goes down and my camera turned off. When I recharged the battery and turned it on I got the “Read/Write error” error message. When I looked for the last night’s photos then found nothing. I don’t know what happed, any idea to get those photos back?

Well, the problem is caused due to the battery. This error generally happens when the image is not fully written in to the memory card and the battery has drained down. Due to these reason when you try to access or read the file which is been partially or not written into the memory card “read/write error” error message is caused. The issue of low battery is very dangerous and requires lots of concern. So, recharge the battery regularly to get the interrupted service. I don’t think you will be able to recover the photos which are not been completely written to the memory card, but just for try use any Delkin Recovery software and see if you could recover the images.
