I recently upgraded my system from Windows XP to Windows 7 operating system. With the help of BitLocker Drive Encryption feature in the Windows 7, I have protected all my photos from the Delkin CF memory card by encrypting it. But now when I decrypted those photos and connect the Delkin CF memory card to my digital camera, I am unable to access the photos and error message is displayed on the LCD screen that access denied. However I am able to capture photos, but then also a card error is displayed.

Can anybody explain it to me why such a thing is occurring and how can I access the photos from my Delkin CF memory card?

Although BitLocker Drive Encryption is a very good feature introduced in Window 7 that can encrypt all your photos on the system from the memory card, but the problem is that sometimes in the due course of encrypting and decrypting, the memory card can get corrupt and hence the photos gets inaccessible. That is why you are getting the above mentioned error messages when you are trying to view the photos.

First of all avoid taking any pictures with your digital camera; whatever model you are using. If you keep on capturing photos, then the older photos that are stored in the memory card will be rewritten by the newer ones and recovery would become impossible.

The best way to recover the photos from your corrupted memory card is by repairing it. There is a tool called Delkin recovery Software which I would suggest you to use. The software will first scan and repair the corrupted Delkin CF memory card and after that would recover the photos.
